Sound familiar?

You're great at what you do. Running the business is a different job.

You started your business because you're good at something. Now the business needs things that have nothing to do with that skill. You might be:

  • Stuck doing everything yourself, with no time left to work on where the business is heading
  • Growing faster than your structure can handle
  • Facing a restructure and unsure how to do it without losing good people
  • Looking at the numbers and not sure what's really driving them
  • Wanting to repeat what works in a new location or market

You don't need a template or a pep talk. You need someone qualified to look at your business honestly, and to help you do something about it.

How we work with SME owners

A co-pilot, not a consultant who talks over you.

We're SME business advisors for owners of small and medium businesses; from solo operators to large enterprises. You're the person with the vision, and you stay in the driver's seat. We bring the qualifications, the process and the extra pair of hands.

Every consultant at Accent Management holds an MBA. When your problem needs a specialist, such as finance, logistics or export, we bring one in for that project at no extra cost to you. We also work alongside your accountant, lawyer and other advisors, so you're not managing a pile of separate people.

We don't sell you a template and walk away. We stay in the seat next to you until the change actually happens.

Who we work with

Solo → Large Firms

From solo operators to large enterprises. If you're the owner or vision-holder of the business, we want to partner with you.

What we help with

SME advisory FAQ

Questions SME owners ask us.

We look at how your business actually runs: where time and money go, how decisions get made, how the team is structured, and what's standing between you and your goals. You get a clear picture of what's working, what isn't, and what to tackle first.

If your question is about tax, compliance or the books, start with your accountant. If it's about how the business is run, structured, staffed or grown, that's where we come in. On the discovery call we'll tell you honestly which one you need, and we work alongside accountants and lawyers when both are needed.

Yes. We work with owners from solo operators up to businesses of around 200 staff, and most of our clients have fewer than 50.

It depends on the size of the job. Some projects are fixed-price, others are hourly where the scope isn't clear yet. We'll always tell you upfront, before any work begins.

Sometimes a restructure is the right call. Often there are alternatives worth looking at first. We help you weigh both before any decisions are made, and plan the change so your team stays engaged. Our article on what to consider before a restructure is a good place to start.

A coach asks questions and helps you find your own answers. A consultant brings specialist expertise, diagnoses the problem and helps you deliver the fix. Every Accent Management consultant holds an MBA, so our advice is grounded in how businesses actually work, not just what worked once for someone else.
